Highland Quartet
The Highland chamber group has a varied history, originating as a piano trio with pianist Kelly Kuo, then in order to expand their flexibility and repertoire, welcomed the addition of a violist, to perform as a string trio as well as a piano quartet. HDCM presented the Highland Trio in the 2008-2009 Opening Season. This performance will feature the Highland Quartet, comprised of Jessica Guideri, Robert Schumitzky, Meredith Crawford and Erin Breene. Together they hold regular positions with the Pacific Symphony Orchestra, Los Angeles Opera Orchestra, Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and the San Diego Chamber Orchestra. Brought together by their love of chamber music, the group performs regularly in a number of different venues, including collaborations with the Corelli Chamber Players in New York City, and recitals in St. Louis, Cincinnati, and the greater Los Angeles area.
