HDCM was founded in 2008 by violinist Isabelle Senger with the mission to provide world class chamber music performances year round in Central Oregon. We are presenting our third season of a series of chamber music concerts at the Tower Theatre in Bend. Other events include hosting an Annual Fundraising Gala at the Broken Top Club, and " Music & Wine" - private concerts in personal residences featuring the chamber group in town for the Tower Theatre performances.

We are dedicated to building our Educational Outreach Programs with local schools through one-on-one contact and instruction with the guest performers. In our first two seasons, the Crown City String Quartet visited the Mountain View HS string orchestra class and followed the performance with a Q&A session. In addition, the string orchestra programs of Bend High School, High Desert Middle School, and Pilot Butte Middle School received complimentary tickets to attend performances. In doing so, we hope to expose young children to the highest levels of music performance, and cultivate an interest that can lead to a more fulfilling life - either pursuing a personal artistic path or developing an appreciation for the performing arts.

We have started a new Educational Outreach program called "Spotlight Chamber Players". Auditions are held in the Fall and open to students in grades 6-12 with at least three years of private instruction. Please call for an application and audition dates. This program was developed to provide a high level of regular chamber music instruction through HDCM. Students receive complimentary admission to the HDCM Series at the Tower Theatre and the opportunity to perform in the lobby prior to HDCM performances, and at "Spotlight on Wine", a wine tasting paired with a performance of the Spotlight Chamber Players.
