Highland Trio
The Highland Trio is comprised of Robert Schumitzky, Luke Maurer and Erin Breene. The members collectively hold positions with the Pacific Symphony, Opera Pacific Orchestra, Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and the San Diego Chamber Orchestra. The group originated as a Piano Trio, with pianist Kelly Kuo. After many years of successful performances, including collaborations with the Corelli Chamber Players in New York City, as well as recitals in St Louis and Cincinnati, the group welcomed the addition of a violist, in order to expand their flexibility and repertoire to perform in the String Trio, Piano Trio and Piano Quartet formations. This performance will showcase the Highland String Trio and they will also be joined by Isabelle Senger to perform as a String Quartet.
