Trio West has been hailed by critics in major music centers as possessing “theatricality and lyrical breadth”, “precisely matched style, mirrored by each other”, “vibrant performances that brought the audience to their feet…” (Los Angeles Times), and “vital and beautiful interpretation – a first-class trio” (General Anzeiger, Bonn, Germany). Together for over two decades, the group is comprised of soloists in their own right. Each brings to the trio a background as solo recitalists and as soloists with orchestra, offering the ensemble a unique blend of individuality and virtuosity. The trio appears frequently under the auspices of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Chamber Music Society, participates in European Music Festivals, and has been featured in Festivals at Sea – classical music festivals aboard the famed Queen Elizabeth II.
