HDCM Celebrity Recitals debuts with a performance by one of America’s foremost violinists, Stefan Jackiw, joined by Canadian pianist Kevin Ahfat! Captivating audiences with playing that combines poetry and purity with impeccable technique, Stefan is hailed for playing of “uncommon musical substance” that is “striking for its intelligence and sensitivity” (Boston Globe).

JEFFREY KAHANE

Equally renowed as a performer, conductor, and scholar, Jeffrey Kahane is now in the sixth decade of an expansive and eclectic career. As one of few masters of the work, this appearance will feature Kahane in a concert/lecture of Bach’s beloved Goldberg Variations, long regarded as one of the most ambitious works for the keyboard. This will be the first time this masterpiece is performed in Central Oregon!
